Learning is fun!

Throughout the Nursery we have had some trips recently to Pleyfauld House, the fire station at Aberdeen Airport and the Science Centre. We enjoyed some glorious weather for our trip to Balmedie Beach to have a picnic, the children also had fun hunting for seashells and making sandcastles.

Some of our Apres children had a trip to an offshore survival centre and had a fantastic time!! They saw lifeboats and a helicopter and even enjoyed the chance to have a seat inside.

Our nursery rooms have been exploring interests such as camping, sea animals, how things are made and how they work. Throughout our camping interest the children tried out different camping foods and made some pretend fires with natural resources, looked at caravans and had fun with the tent.

School Leavers’ Graduation

This summer we bid a fond farewell to many of our girls and boys from Les Après who are off now on a new journey to start Primary 1.

We had a fantastic turn out for the Les Après Graduation, so many family and friends joined us to celebrate the success of all the boys and girls who are going to school after the holidays. The children all sang their hearts out on stage to their loved ones with lots of excitement and pride. Each child came up to receive their scroll and describe what they wanted to be when they grow up. We have lots of talent in the ranks from palaeontologist to hairdressers.

It was a very emotional afternoon as we have watched the children grow over their time at Les Enfants Nursery from the baby room to the confident individuals they are today, ready for the next chapter moving on to school. We would like to wish everyone moving on to school the best of luck and we know you will all be amazing.

We thank all our Parents and Carers who have continued to support Les Enfants and offer suggestions on how we can continue to improve our service. We are always keen to have feedback and welcome comments at any time.

We continue to add to our experienced team and we recruit a high calibre for the Les Enfants team. To help us achieve high standards we provide additional training and processes to ensure the best care, learning and stimulation for the children. Registration of interest for childcare places is good and we now have a waiting list for some age groups on specific days. There are still places available so please don't delay in registering your interest. We are offering invites to view the nursery by appointment.

You are welcome to come and meet the team, check out the facilities and confirm your child's place at the nursery. You can contact us on 01467 623240 or by by email for a brochure or to enrol your child and secure a place.
